This kit will require that you purchase and apply your own sheeting to the dome.  There are many options for dome covering material.  You are purchasing the full materials deposit and half the labor.  We guarantee that the triangles in this kit will be assembled into the correct subcomponents prior to you picking up the kit or it being delivered.  The workmanship of this kit will be of sufficient quality for sheeting and then final assembly to proceed without causing any difficulty in those processes.  We will use weatherproof wood glue or construction adhesive on all subcomponent joints.  Our standard fasteners for this process are #10 3-3 1/2″ deck screws for attaching the struts to each other.  We can use structural screws and glue the strut / strut joints if required at a significantly higher cost.  For fastening completed triangles into subcomponents we will use exterior rated wood glue and/or construction adhesive and 3-5 2″ deck screws per joint.  Edges will be flush within 2mm.  Any obvious discrepancies in the faces being flush will be sanded and restained.  By purchasing you are also agreeing to pay the other half of the labor, shipping charges, and any extra material costs associated with change in cost of material before shipment or pickup.  Please contact us to resolve any questions you have before purchasing this kit.  We are here to help you make the right choice.
